Core curriculum
- Agri drone fundamentals & rules — Spraying, seeding and mapping use cases; agri-drone hardware; UAS Rules 2021, RPTO and NPNT; airspace zones; safety in rural deployments.
- Mission planning & mapping — Planning software, automated flight paths and spray patterns, boundary marking, terrain following, ground control points, KML upload and area calculation.
- Spray system & calibration — Sprayer types, payload mixing, flow-rate calibration, dosage estimation, nozzle and spray-angle choice, and troubleshooting blockages and backflow.
- Field operations — Live deployment: takeoff, mission execution, automated return, battery and payload swaps, signal-loss and return-to-home procedure, anomaly logging.
- Records & assessment — Post-mission maintenance checklist, spray and flight log reporting, practical flight test and oral evaluation.
